Women host Missouri S&T on Sunday

Keegan Sullivan is second on the team in scoring and rebounding.

The Rockhurst women's basketball team returns to conference play on Sunday against Missouri S&T. The Hawks (5-3, 1-1 GLVC) host the Miners (4-5, 1-2 GLVC) in a 1 p.m. tipoff at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Rockhurst has won its last four meetings with S&T, including winning twice last season. The Miners lead the all-time series, 22-12.

Senior guard Daly Sullivan leads the Hawks in scoring (17.5 pg, fourth in the GLVC) and leads the conference in 3-point field goals made (2.75 pg). Senior forward Reagan Dodd is the team leader in rebounding (8.0 pg, fifth in the GLVC). Sophomore guard Keegan Sullivan ranks 20th in scoring (12.1 pg), sixth in rebounding and 11th in assists in the GLVC.

Missouri S&T is coming off a 69-62 win at home over Culver Stockton on Dec. 20. Senior guard Laura Rodriguez leads the Miners with a 13.7 scoring average. Freshman center Katelynn Roberts is averaging 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

The Hawks meet William Jewell (1-7, 0-2 GLVC) on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in Liberty, Missouri. Rockhurst split its two meetings with Jewell last season. The Cardinals lead the series, 16-11, since 1999-00.
