Hawks post road victory at Florida Southern

Daly Sullivan scored 10 of her team-high 21 points in the fourth quarter to help Rockhurst rally for a 64-53 victory over Florida Southern on the first day of the Mocs Christmas Classic Friday in Lakeland, Florida.

Sullivan gave the Hawks a 52-46 lead with her fourth 3-pointer of the game with 6:29 left in the fourth quarter. The senior guard made five free throws in the final two minutes.

Reagan Dodd led the Hawks with 11 rebounds and four assists. Lani Thompson posted 10 points and eight rebounds.

Ella Wedergren scored eight points. Molly Hummel tallied six points, six rebounds and three blocked shots. Keegan Sullivan added six points, five rebounds and three assists.

Florida Southern, 3-6, connected on 21-of-67 shots from the field (31.3 percent). Whitney Jacob led the Mocs with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
