Men host Concordia Bulldogs on Saturday

Rockhurst is back home for the second time in five days. The Hawks host Concordia University at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Hawks (1-5) hope to rebound from a 69-59 loss at home to Missouri Western Tuesday night. RU's Nick Volz (17), Rich Byhre (17) and Jake Auer (13) scored in double figures.

Auer and Volz are tied for 11th in scoring (14.3 pg) in the GLVC. Auer ranks second in 3-point field goals made (3.3 pg) in the GLVC. Volz leads the team in rebounding (6.0 per game).

Concordia (8-1) is averaging 81.7 points per game. Six players are scoring 10 or more points per game for the NAIA school out of Seward, Nebraska. The Bulldogs are coming off a 92-76 victory over Jamestown on Tuesday.
