Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Southern Indiana shuts down Hawks, 1-0

Southern Indiana held Rockhurst to three shots on goal in posting a 1-0 victory over the Hawks in women's soccer action Friday night in Evansville, Indiana.

The Screaming Eagles scored the lone goal of the game two minutes into the second half. Senior midfielder Madison Cady knocked in a shot in front of the goal off a USI corner kick.

Rockhurst finished with eight shots and three shots on goal. The Hawks tallied four shots in the first half and four shots in the second half.

Gabby Hennessy and Olivia Van Belle each had two shots and one shot on goal to lead the Hawks. Taylor James posted three saves.

The Hawks (3-6-2, 2-3-2 GLVC) play at McKendree on Sunday afternoon.
