Rockhurst rally falls short at No. 21 Lewis

Lewis scored seven unanswered points in the fifth set to hold off a Rockhurst rally from two sets down for a five-set victory (25-19, 20-18, 21-25, 26-28, 15-9) Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois.

Averi Vomastic led the Hawks with 14 kills and 16 digs. Justice Wingate tallied nine kills and five blocks. Tera Reberry posted nine kills and five digs. Logan Gronewold added eight kills and four blocks.

Maureen Reilly posted a team-high 29 digs. Gabbie Inman collected 21 assists and 11 digs. Sarah Montague had 20 assists and 11 digs.

Juliana Van Loo led the 21st-ranked Flyers with 21 kills.
