Quincy collects 2-0 win over Rockhurst

Lauren Crane scored two goals to lead Quincy to a 2-0 victory over Rockhurst Friday night in Quincy, Illinois.

Crane scored in the 20th minute and connected on a penalty kick in the 80th minute. Crane led Quincy with four shots.

Rockhurst finished with 12 shots and six shots on goal. Elle Kimball led the Hawks with five shots and three shots on goal. Olivia Schwarzen added three shots and one shot on goal.

RU's Megan Meyers posted 11 saves, six in the first half and five in the second half.

Quincy (5-8, 4-7 GLVC) posted 21 shots and 13 shots on goal.

The Hawks (4-9-2, 3-6-2 GLVC) play at Illinois Springfield on Sunday.
