Drury rallies to post 3-2 win over Hawks

Drury rallied in the fifth set to come away with a 3-2 victory over Rockhurst (27-25, 25-20, 19-25, 20-25, 15-13) Friday night in Springfield, Missouri.

The Panthers ended the match on a 6-2 run to overcome an 11-9 deficit. The Hawks came back from a 2-0 deficit in sets to force a fifth set.

Morgan Conner led the Hawks with 18 kills and five blocks with a .349 hitting percentage. Averi Vomastic finished with 11 kills and six digs. Kenzie Hines collected nine kills and 19 digs.

Sarah Montague and Gabbie Inman combined for 38 assists and 19 digs. Montague collected 23 assists and Inman had 15 digs.
