Hawks open season with third-place finish at Eagle Bend

Caroline Setter finished in eighth place with a 167 score.

Emma Mullendore and Caroline Setter both placed in the top 10 to lead the Rockhurst women's golf team to a third-place finish with a 689 score at the Ottawa Fall Invitational Tuesday at the Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas.

Mullendore shot an 85 in the second round to finish fifth individually with a 162 score. Setter finished in eighth place with a 167 score after posting an 87 in the second round.

Caroline Lynch, Katie Gerschke and Carly Krause also shot second-round scores of 87. Lynch came in 15th place, while Gershke placed 21st. Krause, playing as an individual, finished 17th.
