Hanson recognized by GLVC as Spalding Sportsmanship honoree

Sophomore Brooks Hanson has been recognized by the GLVC in the sport of men’s lacrosse as an honoree of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.

Rockhurst sophomore attacker Brooks Hanson has been recognized by the Great Lakes Valley Conference in the sport of men's lacrosse as an honoree of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.

The representatives from 16 GLVC schools were chosen by their respective coaches to have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior this season.

These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.

Hanson ranked second on the team in 2020 with 20 points on six goals and 14 assists.

Hanson is now eligible to become one of RU's two overall James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced on Monday, May 18.
