Men's Tennis posts two wins in Florida

The Rockhurst men's tennis team posted a pair of 6-1 wins in Orlando, Florida this week. The Hawks (4-4) defeated Dallas Baptist on Tuesday and Augustana (SD) on Wednesday.

The Hawks captured a point in doubles with wins in No. 2 and 3 doubles against Dallas Baptist. RU's Nicolas Leon and Alex Barnadas were winners in No. 2 doubles by a 6-4 score. Masao Perret and Ryan Moody captured their No. 3 double match, 6-3

Perret also won in straight sets in No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-1). Simon Birgerson, Santiago Rodriguez, Ermanno Galimberti and and Martijn Eleveld each won their singles matches in straight sets.

In the 6-1 win over Augustana, the Hawks got a point in doubles play by winning all three matches. Nicolas Leon won in three sets in No. 1 singles. Birgerson, Rodriguez, Bernadas and Garrett Lewis.

The Hawks opened the week in Florida with a 4-3 loss to Northwood and ended the week with a 5-2 loss to Ferris State.
