The Rockhurst women's tennis team rolled to a 5-2 victory over McKendree in a non-conference dual match Sunday at the Northland Racquet Club in North Kansas City, Missouri.

Rockhurst captured a point in doubles with wins in No. 1 and 3 doubles. RU's Paula Romero and Andrea Dabbah won in No. 1 doubles by a 6-4 score. Dina Dudic and Andrea Dabbah won by default in No. 3 doubles. Kate Merrick and Mary Grace Harris fell in No. 2 doubles, 6-2.

Romero was a two-set winner in No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-2). Dabbah won No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-1) and Sara Flaxbeard was a winner in No. 5 singles (6-0, 6-0). Harris won by default in No. 6 singles.

In No. 1 singles, Dudic fell in two sets (6-0, 6-4). Merrick lost in No. 4 singles in two sets (6-0, 6-2).

The Hawks (1-1) will be back in action March 1 against Missouri Western at Milburn Country Club.
