Hawks wrap up home schedule against Drury, SBU

Senior guard Madline Ronshausen will play her final home games this week.

The Rockhurst Hawks have their final two home games of the season this week, hosting No. 1-ranked Drury (Thursday, 5:30 p.m.) and Southwest Baptist on Senior Day (Saturday, 1:00 p.m.).

The Hawks are in the midst of a tough stretch, having lost five games in a row. Rockhurst has been competitive in those games, but has seen some second-half comebacks fall just short.

Things don't get any easier for the Hawks as undefeated Drury (23-0, 14-0 GLVC) visits Mason-Halpin Field House on Thursday. The Panthers are outscoring opponents by 26.7 points per game. Drury is led by Hailey Diestelkamp (18.8 points per game) and Paige Robinson (14.0 pg).

The Hawks will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday when the Southwest Baptist Bearcats come to town. SBU enters the week at 12-10 (6-8 GLVC). Hailey Rezabek (16.7 pg) and Kyleigh Vaught (11.6 pg) anchor the Bearcats offensively.

These will be the final home games for Rockhurst's Madeline Ronshausen, Lauren Krissman, Mary Leigh Rock, Rachel Holden and Maddy Grennes.
