Mullendore tied for fifth after first round at Park tourney

Emma Mullendore is tied for fifth place after the first round to lead the Rockhurst women's golf team at the Virginia McCoy Park Fall Invitational Monday at the Tiffany Greens Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri.

Mullendore shot a 14-over par 86 on the par-72 course. She trails the leader by four shots. Teammate Emma Hughes is tied for eighth with an 88.

The Hawks are in fourth place with a team score of 349. Kansas Wesleyan leads the field with a 351 score.

Caroline Setter shot a 91 and is tied for 13th. Caroline Lynch and Carly Krause are tied for 27th with a pair of 99s.

The 36-hole event concludes Tuesday at Tiffany Greens.
