The Rockhurst women's golf team claimed first place Tuesday at the Ottawa Fall Invitational with a school record 36-hole score of 328 at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Hawks broke the previous school record by seven strokes, which was recorded at the 2012 William Jewell Invitational at Cardinal Hill Golf Course and the 2013 Midwest Shootout at Annbriar Golf Course.

The Hawks shot a 311 in the second round, which was one stroke off the school record of 310, also recorded at the 2012 William Jewell Invitational.

Freshman Emma Mullendore was the top individual with a 152 score with back-to-back rounds of 76. Abby Sauber tied for second at 154 (78-76). Caroline Setter, Dorothy Keenan and Emma Hughes also finished in the top 10. Setter shot a 78 in the second round to finish with a 150 score. Keenan posted a 164 score, while Hughes came in at 167.

Ashley Fite and Makenzie Fuss rounded the Rockhurst players. Fite tied for 13th at 186 and Fuss placed 14th at 187.
