Bodeau named Google Cloud First Team Academic All-American

Zach Bodeau is a three-time All-Conference midfielder and was named GLVC Specialty Player of the Year this past season.

Zach Bodeau of the Rockhurst men's lacrosse team was selected to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division II Men's At-Large First Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Bodeau helped the Hawks to a 12-4 record and No. 16 national ranking in 2019. Bodeau finished his junior year with a 4.0 GPA in Criminal Justice. He was a Google Cloud Second Team Academic All-American in 2018.

Bodeau is a three-time All-Conference midfielder and was named GLVC Specialty Player of the Year this past season. Bodeau ranked second in faceoff winning percentage (77.1) and eighth in ground balls (8.88 per game) in NCAA Division II.

The Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2017-18 Division II Academic All-America® teams program.

The at-large program for the CoSIDA Academic All-America® program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo for both men and women; bowling, crew and field hockey for women; and volleyball and wrestling for men.
