Zach Bodeau of the Rockhurst men's lacrosse team has been named to the Google Cloud Division II Men's At-Large Academic All-District 4 Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
To be eligible for the Google Cloud Academic All-America program, the student athlete must be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials and at least a 3.3 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). They must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at the institution (true freshmen, redshirt freshmen and first-year athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at the institution.
Bodeau, a junior from Centennial, Colorado, helped lead the 16th-ranked Hawks to a 12-4 record. He was named the GLVC Specialty Player of the Year and earned first team All-GLVC honors. He currently leads the GLVC with 8.82 ground balls per game and is the conference leader in faceoff winning percentage (.770). Bodeau, who has a 4.0 cumulative GPA in Criminal Justice, was a Second Team Google Cloud D2 Academic All-American last year..
