The Rockhurst women's tennis team posted a 7-0 victory over the Baker Wildcats on Friday in Baldwin City, Kansas.
The Hawks swept the three doubles while only dropping six games. Sam Czarnecki, Anilu Barraza, Octavia Malin, Paula Romero, Sara Flaxbeard and Mary Grace Harris were victorious in singles play.
Rockhurst fell at home to 18th-ranked Drury, 5-2, on Saturday. Flaxbeard and Emma Persson won their No. 3 doubles match, 6-1, over Drury. Flaxbeard captured her No. 6 singles match over Drury in a third set tie-breaker.
On Sunday, sixth-ranked Washburn defeated the Hawks, 6-1. Malin won her No. 3 singles match in a third set tie-breaker. Czarnecki and Romero were winners in No. 2 doubles.
The Hawks (10-10, 3-1 GLVC) close out the regular with home matches Maryville (Friday) and Missouri-St. Louis (Saturday).
