No. 16 Hawks meet Maryville in key GLVC matchup

Senior attacker Nick Schveninger has scored 15 goals this season.

The Rockhurst Hawks face a key conference matchup against the Maryville Saints (9-2, 3-1 GLVC) at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bourke Field.

Rockhurst (9-2, 4-0 GLVC) is ranked 16th in the latest USILA Division II rankings after posting a 13-10 victory over Westminster (Utah) last Sunday in St. Charles, Missouri.

Sophomore attacker Sam Lindahl leads the team with 63 points on 38 goals and 25 assists. Senior attacker Collin Fischer has scored 37 points (27 G, 10 A), junior attacker Drake O'Neill has 36 points (24 G, 12 A) and junior attacker Kai Trujillo has 34 points (27 G, 7 A). Alex Pfeil and Patrick Fitzsimmons have combined for 75 saves and nine wins this season in goal.

The Hawks close out the regular season against two nationally-ranked teams. Rockhurst hosts 15th-ranked Lindenwood on Saturday, April 13 and travels to ninth-ranked Indianapolis on Friday, April 19.
