No. 13 Hawks meet No. 7 Indy with GLVC title on the line

The 13th-ranked Rockhurst Hawks face the seventh-ranked Indianapolis Greyhounds Friday in Indianapolis with first place on the line in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Rockhurst (11-2, 5-0 GLVC) is coming off a 12-6 victory over Lindenwood last Saturday in Kansas City. Indy (11-1, 5-0 GLVC) posted a 14-7 victory over Maryille at home on Saturday.

Sophomore attacker Sam Lindahl leads the Hawks with 71 points on 40 goals and 31 assists. Senior attacker Collin Fischer has scored 43 points (31 G, 12 A), junior attacker Drake O'Neill has 43 points (28 G, 15 A) and junior attacker Kai Trujillo has 41 points (33 G, 8 A). Junior midfielder Zach Bodeau and sophomore midfielder Sal Valdivia have combined for 293 faceoff wins and 204 ground balls this season.

The Rockhurst-Indy winner will host the GLVC Tournament on April 26-28. The semifinals will be played on Friday, April 26, with the championship on Sunday, April 28.
