The Rockhurst women's golf team took first place in the Baker Spring Invite Tuesday, hosted by Baker University at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas.
The Hawks shot 325 in round one on Monday and 323 in the second round Tuesday for an overall score of 648, holding off second place Columbia College (656) by eight strokes.
Abby Sauber led the Hawks, shooting 79 on Monday and 77 on Tuesday for a combined score of 156, tied for the third-best individual total.
Emma Hughes (159) and
Hannah Johnston (163) tied for fifth and seventh place, respectively.
