The Rockhurst men's tennis team closed out the regular season at the Plaza Tennis Courts against Maryville and Missouri-St. Louis. The Saints edged the Hawks 4-3 on Friday, while UMSL posted a 6-1 win over Rockhurst on Saturday.

Nicolas Leon (No. 3) and Ryan Moody (No. 6) captured their singles matches in two sets against Maryville. The Hawks also won two of the three doubles matches. Tarass Thevenaz and Martijn Eleveld won in No. 1 doubles, 6-1. Leon and Santiago Villegas won their No. 2 doubles match, 6-1.

Rockhurst also won in No. 1 and 2 doubles against UMSL by 6-3 scores. Thevenaz and Leon both lost their singles matches in three sets to the Tritons.

The Hawks (11-11, 3-3 GLVC) will face Indianapolis in the first round of the GLVC Tournament on Friday in Indianapolis.
