No. 17 Hawks host GLVC foes this weekend

Senior goalie Alex Pfeil has made 36 saves this season.

The Rockhurst Hawks men's lacrosse team will host a pair of conference game this weekend at Bourke Field. The Hawks meet Alabama-Huntsville (1-5, 0-1 GLVC) on Friday at 6 p.m., while Young Harris (4-4, 0-1 GLVC) is the visiting opponent on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Rockhurst (6-2, 2-0 GLVC) is ranked 17th in the latest USILA Division II rankings after posting a 28-6 victory over Adams State at home last Sunday.

Sophomore attacker Sam Lindahl leads the team with 42 points on 25 goals and 17 assists. Junior attacker Drake O'Neill has scored 31 points (20 G, 11 A), junior attacker Kai Trujillo has 28 points (22 G, 6 A) and senior attacker Collin Fischer has 25 points (18 G, 7 A). Senior goalie Alex Pfeil has a 10.88 goals against average while making 36 saves in four games.

The Hawks will travel across the state next weekend to play Westminster (Utah) in St. Charles, Missouri on Sunday, March 31.
