Rockhurst meets Adams State in home opener

The Rockhurst men's lacrosse team hopes the third time is the charm in playing their home opener. The 14th-ranked Hawks had their first two home openers cancelled due to weather. The weather should not affect Sunday's noon opener against Adams State at Bourke Field.

Rockhurst (5-2) is coming off a 23-4 victory at Shorter last Wednesday in Rome, Georgia. Junior attacker Kai Trujillo led the Hawks with six goals.

The Hawks, 2-0 in the GLVC, will return to conference play at home next weekend against Alabama-Huntsville on Friday and Young Harris on Sunday.
