Rockhurst University junior midfielders Drake O'Neill and Zach Bodeau have been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in men's lacrosse, it was announced by the league office Monday.

O'Neill was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week after helping Rockhurst start 2019 with season-opening 27-6 road win at Benedictine on Sunday. He tallied nine points on four goals and five assists. O'Neill posted 15 shots and added five ground balls. He earns the first-ever Offensive Player of the Week award for Rockhurst.

Bodeau earned GLVC Defensive Player of the Week honors. He grabbed a game-high 12 ground balls and was a perfect 16-for-16 on face-offs. Bodeau helped hold Benedictine to 26 shots and 14 shots on goal. He receives the first-ever Defensive Player of the Week award for Rockhurst.
