Rockhurst attacker Sam Lindahl has been selected the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week in men's lacrosse, it was announced by the league office Monday.
The sophomore from Maplewood, Minnesota helped Rockhurst post a 20-12 upset road win over 19th-ranked Lake Erie last Friday.
Lindahl tallied a game-high eight points with six goals and two assists on a game-high 17 shots. He added eight ground balls and one caused turnover.
This is Lindahl's first career GLVC Offensive Player of the Week honor. The Hawks (3-0) moved into the national rankings at No. 19 today and will face another road test at fourth-ranked Belmont-Abbey on Saturday.
