Sam Lindahl and
Drake O'Neill combined for 10 goals and seven assists to lead Rockhurst to a 22-4 victory over Saint Mary Thursday night in Leavenworth, Kansas.
The Hawks jumped out to a 13-2 lead at halftime. The Hawks outscored the Spires 9-2 in the second half. Rockhurst outshot USM, 43-19.
Lindahl led the Hawks with six goals (on 13 shots) and four assists. O'Neill tallied four goals and three assists.
Collin Fischer collected three goals and
Kai Trujillo added two goals.
Zach Bodeau and
Sal Valdivia combined to win 21-of-28 faceoffs and pick up 12 ground balls.
Patrick Fitzsimmons posted four saves.
The Hawks (2-0) travel to Ohio to play Lake Erie on Feb. 22.
