Hawks open road trip with loss to Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Greyhounds scored two goals in each half in a 4-0 win over Rockhurst Friday night at Key Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Javier Steinwascher opened the scoring for UIndy in the 34th minute. The Greyhounds (11-4-1, 9-4-1 GLVC) would strike again three minutes later on a goal from Kendall Allen, taking a 2-0 lead into halftime.

Alejandro Steinwascher would stretch the lead to 3-0 in the 59th minute. Ian Vicars capped the scoring in the 67th minute.

The Greyhounds held a 19-6 advantage in shots. Goalkeeper Nick Randazzo collected six saves for Rockhurst. Luke Rafanan led the Hawks in shots with two. Sean Michel, Jordan Andrews, Trevor Cissell and Collin Chrun posted one shot apiece.

Rockhurst (5-9-2, 5-8-1 GLVC) will look to bounce back Sunday in their regular season finale at Bellarmine (11:00 a.m. CST).
