Hawks move into national rankings at No. 20

The Rockhurst men's lacrosse team is ranked 20th in this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) poll, which was announced on Monday.

The Hawks (11-1) are coming off a 12-8 victory at 10th-ranked Mercyhurst last Friday. Collin Fischer scored a team-high four goals and was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Rockhurst leads NCAA Division II in scoring margin (9.67), in addition to ranking second in scoring offense (16.67) and fifth in scoring defense (7.0). The Hawks also rank fourth in points per game (24.33), fourth in ground balls per game (37.83) and 15th in assists per game (7.67). Zach Bodeau leads the nation in face-off winning percentage (.793) and 14th in ground balls per game (6.73).

The Hawks, who are also ranked 17th in the US Lacrosse Magazine poll, will play at 19th-ranked Lindenwood (5-3) on Friday.
