Rockhurst picks up 12-4 victory at Adams State

Box Score Collin Fischer scored five points to lead Rockhurst to a 12-4 victory over Adams State in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Thursday night in Alamosa, Colorado.

The Hawks scored the first seven goals of the game and took a 7-4 lead into halftime. Rockhurst tallied five unanswered goals in the third period to take a 12-4 lead.

Fischer paced the Hawks with three goals and two assists. Sam Lindahl had two goals and one assist. Connor Hill and Drake O'Neill each scored two goals.

Rockhurst outshot Adams State, 42-31. Lindahl led the Hawks with 10 shots. Michael Beckham collected five shots.

Zach Bodeau won 16 faceoffs and had a team-high eight ground balls. Connor Bateman had four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Alex Pfeil and Patrick Fitzsimmons combined for 14 saves.

The Hawks (6-1, 2-1 RMAC) play at Colorado State-Pueblo on Saturday.
