Box Score Jillian Myers scored 10 points in the fourth period to help rally Rockhurst to a 54-48 victory over Truman State Saturday in Kirksville, Missouri.
The Hawks outscored the Truman State 31-19 in the fourth period and rallied from a 41-35 deficit with less than four minutes left. Rockhurst made eight of 15 field goals and 12 of 14 free throws in the fourth period.
Briahtia Sebek's 3-pointer with 1:48 left gave the Hawks their first lead of the second half at 44-43. Rockhurst canned eight free throws in the final 1:04 to secure the win.
Myers led the Hawks with 16 points, four rebounds and two steals. Madeline Ronshausen scored 11 points.
Sebek scored eight points and hit two 3-pointers in the fourth period. Morgan Harwood, Tracy Monahan and Kaci German combined for 14 points, 18 rebounds and six blocked shots.
Rockhurst shot 30.4 percent from the field (14 of 46). Truman State made 17 of 59 shots for a 28.8 percent field goal percentage. The Bulldogs outrebounded the Hawks, 44-38.
The Hawks (9-11, 5-7 GLVC) return home to host ninth-ranked Drury on Thursday.
