Box Score Three players combined for 62 points to power Drury to an 85-64 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night in Springfield, Missouri.
The fifth-ranked Lady Panthers jumped out to a 26-14 lead after the first period. Drury also outscored the Hawks 21-11 in the third period. Heather Harman (25), Hailey Diestelkamp (20) and Alice Heinzler (17) paced the Drury offense.
Morgan Harwood led the Hawks with a career-high 23 points, five rebounds and two steals. Harwood connected on 11 of 13 field goals. Jillian Myers posted 14 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Lauren Krissman scored seven points. Madeline Ronshausen was held to six points, only the third game she scored less than 10 points this season.
Rockhurst shot 46.0 percent from the field (23 of 50). Drury made 31 of 68 shots for a 45.6 percent field goal percentage. Both teams finished with 33 rebounds.
The Hawks (10-15, 6-11 GLVC) remain in eighth place by a narrow margin over McKendree and Illinois Springfield in the GLVC Point Rating System (PRS). The top eight teams in the PRS will qualify for the GLVC Tournament next week in Edwardsville, Illinois.
