Rockhurst men roll to 19-5 win at Maryville

Box Score Rockhurst scored on five extra-man opportunites in rolling to a 19-5 victory over Maryville Saturday in St. Louis.

The Hawks jumped out to an 8-2 halftime lead and outscored the Saints 11-3 in the second half.

Kai Truillo led the Hawks with five goals. Sam Lindahl posted four goals and two assists. Jake Martin tallied three goals and Collin Fischer added two goals and one assist. Michael Beckham had a team-high three assists and seven ground balls.

Rockhurst outshot Maryville, 47-14. Trujillo led the Hawks with eight shots. Lindahl and Martin each collected six shots.

Zach Bodeau won 15 faceoffs and posted a team-high eight ground balls. Alex Pfeil posted five saves. Sal Valdivia added nine faceoff wins and four ground balls.

The Hawks (3-0) host Wheeling Jesuit on Sunday, Feb. 24.
