The Rockhurst Hawks (6-4) meet the Newman Jets (8-4) for the fourth year in a row at 3 p.m. Saturday at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.
The Hawks rallied for an 84-80 win over the Jets last year in Wichita. Newman is a member of the Heartland Conference and will join the MIAA in 2019-20.

Quinton Curry ranks 13th in scoring (13.8 pg), eighth in rebounding (6.3 pg), third in field goal percentage (62.5) and ninth in blocked shots (0.80 pg) in the GLVC. Sophomore guard
Chris Hamil stands 22nd in scoring (13.8 pg), 12th in 3-point field goals (2.20 pg) and 11th in steals (1.50 pg) in the GLVC.

Curtis Lewis ranks fifth in assists (4.7 pg) and 22nd in scoring (13.8 pg) in the GLVC. Senior forward

Rockhurst is coming off an an 89-81 loss at Missouri Western on Dec. 19. Curry led the Hawks with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Lewis scored a team-high 19 points. Hamil posted 14 points and four rebounds. Muench tallied 13 points. Freshman forward
Tyler Garrett added nine points and six rebounds. Rockhurst shot 44.0 percent from the field and hit five of 25 three-pointers.
The Jets cruised to a 92-73 win over the Avila Eagles on Dec. 17 in Wichita. Junior forward Marshawn Blackmon posted 21 points and 11 rebounds. Senior guard Ben Ayre recorded a season-high 21 points. Senior guard Dametrius Walker added 15 points, while junior guard Juwan Davenport scored 14 points. Sophomore forward De'Andre Johnson snatched eight rebounds.
Blackmon leads the Heartland Conference in scoring (18.5 pg) and ranks second in the conference in rebounding (9.4 pg).
R.J. Allen is in his second season as the head coach at Newman and is in his eighth season overall as a member of the Newman staff.
