The Rockhurst women's basketball team opens the regular season in the friendly confines of Mason-Halpin Field House this weekend.
 
Adams State comes to town Friday for a 5:30 p.m. tip. The University of Saint Mary (Kansas) visits the Hawks' nest Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
 
Men's basketball heads to Jewell for GLIAC/GLVC Challenge 
Rockhurst takes on Purdue Northwest Friday at 5:30 p.m. at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri in the GLVC/GLIAC Challenge. The Hawks then have a quick turnaround, playing Davenport University at noon on Saturday in Liberty.
 
These non-conference matchups will be good measuring stick games for the Hawks, who held their own at Division 1 DePaul in their exhibition opener last week. 
 
Volleyball advances to the GLVC semifinals
The Hawks took down Indianapolis in three sets in the opening round of the GLVC Championship Tournament Thursday night. They are back in action Friday at 5:30 p.m. and await the winner of Lewis vs. Truman State.

Women's soccer takes on Grand Valley State in NCAA Tournament
The Hawks travel to Allendale, Michigan for a date with No. 1 seed Grand Valley State.
