Arand leads Hawks to 3-0 win over Missouri S&T

Audrey Arand led the Hawks with a season-high 15 kills.

Box Score Freshman Audrey Arand posted a season-high 15 kills to carry Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over Missouri S&T Saturday in Mason-Halpin Field House.

The 25th-ranked Hawks won the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-18, before taking a 10-minute break. Rockhurst wrapped up the match with a 25-15 win in the third set.

Arand only made hitting error while collecting a .452 hitting percentage. Mary Rolf tallied nine kills and four blocks. Alyssa Woodman finished with nine kills and six digs.

Karli Reichert and Kali Arnold combined for 19 digs. Grace Carter had a team-high 39 assists. Anne Hellwege added 16 digs to improve her career digs total to 2,065.

The Hawks (12-4, 4-2 GLVC) host Maryville on Tuesday night.
