Rockhurst drops first home match of the season

Karli Reichert led the Hawks with 14 kills and 16 digs.

Box Score Rockhurst dropped its first home match of the season, falling to Drury 3-0 in three close sets Friday night in Mason-Halpin Field House.

Drury rallied to win the first set, 26-24, and won the second set, 25-23. The Panthers closed out the match with a 31-29 win in the third set.

Karli Reichert led the Hawks with 14 kills and 16 digs. Alyssa Woodman tallied 10 kills. Mary Rolf and Audrey Arand combined for 18 kills and seven blocks.

Grace Carter tallied 39 assists and 11 kills. Anne Hellwege finished with 10 digs to improve her career digs total to 2,049.

The Hawks (11-4, 3-2 GLVC) host Missouri S&T Saturday afternoon.
