Hawks fall at home to Westminster, 10-7

Box Score Westminster scored four unanswered goals in the fourth period to pull away for a 10-7 victory over Rockhurst Friday night at Bourke Field.

The Hawks (7-3, 3-3 RMAC) rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the second period to tie the score at 5-5 on a man-up goal by Luke VanOverbeke going into the fourth period.

Christian Schveninger led the Hawks with two goals and two assists. Jake Martin also finished with two goals. Luke VanOverbeke added one goal and one assist.

Rockhurst outshot Westminster, 43-22. Martin and Schveninger paced the Hawks with seven shots each. Grant VanOverbeke added five shots.

Zach Bodeau won 19-of-21 faceoffs and collected 10 ground balls. Freshman goalie Spencer Bright finished with five saves.
