Rockhurst opened the fourth period on a 16-2 run to break away for a 67-57 victory over Avila  Monday night at Avila's Mabee Fieldhouse.

The Hawks (14-7) drained three consecutive three-pointers to take a 65-49 lead. Marisa Lowe's third three-pointer of the night capped the rally with 4:34 left to play.

Lowe led the Hawks with 13 points and eight rebounds. Mary Dineen posted 12 points and four assists. Jillian Myers posted 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Morgan Harwood finished with nine points and seven rebounds.

Rockhurst shot 32.8 percent from the field (21 of 64) and 94.1 percent at the free-throw line (16 of 17).

Avila shot 33.3 percent from the field and 85.0 percent from the foul line. Raven Bunn led the Eagles with 21 points and 15 rebounds.

The Hawks play at Saint Joseph's on Thursday (Feb. 9).
