Hawks continue road success with win at Quincy

Rockhurst won its sixth road game of the season, including winning its fourth consecutive road game, by collecting a 68-58 victory over Quincy Thursday night at the Pepsi Arena in Quincy, Ill.

The Hawks (17-7, 11-5 GLVC) never trailed in the game, jumping out to a 39-30 halftime lead and taking a 14-point lead midway through the fourth period.

Mary Dineen led the Hawks with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists. The senior guard made six-of-13 shots, including three-of-five 3-point field goals, and six-of-six free throws.

Jillian Myers posted 16 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Madeline Ronshausen scored 13 points off the bench. Morgan Harwood added eight points and nine rebounds.

Rockhurst shot 39.7 percent from the field (23 of 58) and 81.3 percent at the free-throw line (13 of 16).

Quincy shot 31.7 percent from the field (19 of 60) and 91.7 percent (11 of 12) from the foul line. Nikia Edom led Quincy with 16 points.

The Hawks play at Truman State on Saturday (Feb. 18).
