Kriete carries Hawks to 3-0 win at Missouri S&T

Emma Kriete led the Hawks with a career-high 16 kills.

Box Score Emma Kriete posted a career-high 16 kills and a .727 hitting percentage to lead Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over Missouri S&T Tuesday night in Rolla, Missouri.

The Hawks rallied from a 21-18 deficit to win the first set, 25-23. Rockhurst won the final two sets, 25-13 and 25-17, while only making four hitting errors.

Kriete tallied five kills in each of the first two sets. She added six kills on six hitting attempts in the third set.

Alyssa Woodman collected 15 kills and a .375 hitting percentage. Karli Reichert added nine kills and a .381 hitting percentage.

Grace Carter and Dani Prusha combined for 42 assists and nine digs. Anne Hellwege had a team-high 15 digs for the Hawks, who hit .402 for the match.

Rockhurst (25-6, 13-4 GLVC) closes out the regular season at home on Saturday against Truman State. The Hawks have already clinched the GLVC West title.
