Hawks post 3-1 win over UMSL in GLVC Tournament

Karli Reichert posted 13 kills against UMSL.

Box Score Grace Carter collected a team-high 14 kills and 34 assists to lead Rockhurst to a 3-1 victory over Missouri-St. Louis in the first round of the GLVC Tournament Friday in East Peoria, Illinois.

Rockhurst (27-6) will now meet second-seeded McKendree in the semifinals of the GLVC Tournament at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The Hawks lost at McKendree, 3-2, earlier this season.

After dropping the first set to UMSL by a 25-21 score, the Hawks on the next three sets, 25-23, 25-22 and 25-15.

Karli Reichert posted 13 kills and three blocks. Mary Rolf tallied 10 kills and eight blocks. Emily Matio had 10 kills and four blocks. Alyssa Woodman totaled eight kills and 13 digs. Audrey Arand added eight kills and three blocks.

Anne Hellwege finished with a team-high 21 digs. Dani Prusha collected 23 assists and 12 digs. Kalie Arnold had 12 digs.
