Seniors lead Hawks to 3-1 win over Truman State

Box Score Grace Carter posted a triple double in her final home game on Senior Day to lead Rockhurst to a 3-1 victory over Truman State Saturday at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.

Carter finished with 31 assists, 16 digs and 10 kills to lead the Hawks to 25-15, 25-14 and 25-16 wins over the Bulldogs.

Rockhurst (26-6) ends the regular season as the GLVC West Division champion with a 14-4 record. The Hawks will be the third seed in the GLVC Tournament and will face sixth-seeded Missouri-St. Louis on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in East Peoria, Illinois.

Karli Reichert collected 14 kills and a .324 hitting percentage. Mary Rolf posted 11 kills and four blocks. Alyssa Woodman added seven kills, 15 digs and four blocks.

Senior libero Anne Hellwege wrapped up her career at home with a team-high 29 digs. Kalie Arnold tallied 23 digs, Dani Prusha totaled 18 assists and Emily Matio added six blocks.
