The Rockhurst Hawks (7-4, 1-2 GLVC) meet the 13th-ranked Bellarmine Knights (10-2, 2-0 GLVC) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference inter-division matchup today at 7 p.m. in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Knights won their last meeting, 72-65, at Rockhurst on Jan. 9, 2016. Bellarmine has won the last six meetings and leads the all-time series, 8-3.

Junior forward Kaleb Warner leads the Hawks in scoring (14.6) and rebounding (5.7). Senior guard Malachi Nix ranks 14th in free throw percentage (77.8), 22nd in assists (3.0), 25th in steals (1.3) and 44th in scoring (11.2) in the GLVC.

Sophomore forward Connor Evans ranks 16th in steals (1.5), 33rd in free throw percentage (63.6), 34th in rebounds (4.9), 43rd in blocked shots (0.4) and 46th in assists (2.0) in the GLVC. Junior center Gabe Brown leads the GLVC and ranks 12th in the nation in blocked shots (2.5). He also ranks 35th in rebounding (4.9) in the GLVC. Junior guard Travis House ranks fourth in 3-point field goals made (2.9) and 18th in 3-point field goal percentage (40.0) in the GLVC.

Rockhurst posted a 74-66 victory over Central Missouri last Saturday at Rockhurst. Connor Evans led the Hawks with 16 points and four assists. Rockhurst made 11 3-pointers and connected on 19-of-22 free throws to defeat Central Missouri for the first time since 2007 and end a five-game losing streak against the Mules. Andrew Ellwanger came off the bench to score 14 points behind four 3-point shots. Kaleb Warner posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Travis House tallied 12 points on four 3- pointers. Malachi Nix added 11 points and seven assists. Rockhurst shot 45.8 percent from the field and 39.3 percent on 3-point field goals.
