Rockhurst women meet 13th-ranked Drury

Junior guard Jillian Myers is fourth in steals, ninth in assists and 10th in assist/turnover ratio in the GLVC.
The Rockhurst Hawks (11-4, 6-2 GLVC) meet the 13th-ranked Drury Lady Panthers (16-2, 8-0 GLVC) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division matchup at 1 p.m. today at the O'Reilly Family Event Center in Springfield, Mo.

The Lady Panthers won their last meeting, 87-55, in the GLVC Tournament on March 3, 2016. Drury leads the all-time series, 31-1.

The Hawks are currently in second place in the GLVC West Division with a 6-2 league mark. Senior guard Mary Dineen ranks second in the GLVC and 27th in the nation in scoring (19.1). Dineen also ranks ninth in 3-point field goals made (1.9) and fifth in free throw percentage (82.8) in the GLVC. The preseason All-American has scored 1,548 points in her career at Rockhurst.

Junior guard Jillian Myers is fourth in steals (2.7), ninth in assists (3.3) and 10th in assist/turnover ratio (1.2) in the GLVC. Sophomore forward Marisa Lowe ranks 19th in scoring (12.3) and third in 3-point field goals made (2.4) in the GLVC. Lowe has scored 76 points (19.0 pg) in her last four games. Freshman guard Madeline Ronshausen has moved into eighth in 3-point field goal percentage (42.9) and 16th in 3-point field goals made (1.6) in the GLVC. Ronshausen has scored 63 points (10.5 pg) in her last six games. Freshman center Rachel Holden ranks fourth in blocked shots (1.5) in the GLVC.

Rockhurst ranks first in 3-point field goals made (8.1), second in field goal percentage defense (36.1), second in 3-point field goal percentage defense (26.6), second in blocked shots (4.7), third in free throw percentage (73.9), third in assist/turnover ratio, fourth in scoring offense (75.1), fourth in scoring margin (11.9), fourth in rebounding margin (5.3), and fifth in 3-point field goal percentage (36.1) in the GLVC.

Mary Dineen scored eight of her game-high 26 points in the fourth period to lead Rockhurst to a 68-65 victory at Missouri S&T Thursday night. The Hawks shot 40.6 percent from the field and 70.0 percent at the free-throw line. Jillian Myers tallied eight points, six rebounds and five steals. Marisa Lowe collected eight points on two-of-11 shooting. Rachel Holden added five points, four rebounds and four blocked shots.

The Hawks return home to host Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday, Jan. 26 and Maryville on Saturday, Jan. 28. Rockhurst opens February with home games against Lewis and Wisconsin-Parkside before closing out the regular season with six road games.
