Hawks' winning streak ends at No. 13 Drury

Mary Dineen led the Hawks with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Rockhurst saw its three-game winning streak end Saturday at Drury, falling to the 13th-ranked Lady Panthers 94-43 in Springfield, Mo.

Drury (17-2, 9-0 GLVC) overcame missing 15 of its first 17 shots to take a 36-13 halftime lead. The Lady Panthers hit 21 of 36 field goals in the second half and finished with a 45.6 shooting percentage.

The Hawks (11-5, 6-3 GLVC) shot 27.8 percent from the field and 80.0 at the free-throw line. Rockhurst was held to a season-low 15 field goals.

Mary Dineen led the Hawks with 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Maddy Grennes collected six points and three rebounds. Kaci German posted a team-high 10 rebounds.

The Hawks return home to host Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday (Jan. 26).
