The Rockhurst Hawks (8-4, 3-2 GLVC) host the McKendree Bearcats (9-5, 0-4 GLVC) on Old School Jersey Night in a Great Lakes Valley Conference inter-divisional matchup today at 5:30 p.m.
Rockhurst won their last meeting, 74-54, at McKendree on Jan. 16, 2016. The Hawks own a 7-0 lead in the all-time series.

Mary Dineen leads the GLVC and ranks 16th in the nation in scoring (19.8). Dineen also ranks tied for fifth in 3-point field goals made (2.2) and ninth in free throw percentage (81.8) in the GLVC. The preseason All-American has scored 1,499 points in her career at Rockhurst. Junior guard
Jillian Myers ranks fifth in steals (2.4), 11th in assists (3.25) and 10th in assist/turnover ratio (1.15) in the GLVC. Sophomore forward
Marisa Lowe is tied for 24th in scoring (11.6) and tied for fifth in 3-point field goals made (2.2) in the GLVC. Freshman center

Rockhurst ranks first in 3-point field goals made (8.2), first in 3-point field goal percentage defense (25.9), third in blocked shots (4.8), third in scoring offense (75.2), third in field goal percentage defense (35.4), fourth in free throw percentage (73.2), fourth in scoring margin (12.1), fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (36.0) and fourth in rebounding margin (7.0) in the GLVC.
The Hawks drained a season-high 15 three-point shots, but could not overcome torrid free-throw shooting by Southern Indiana as the Hawks suffered an 84-79 road loss last Saturday. The Screaming Eagles connected on 33-of-39 free throws, while the Hawks were limited to six-of-11 foul shooting. Five different players made three-point shots as the Hawks connected on 15-of-30 shots from behind the three-point arc.
Marisa Lowe scored a career-high 30 points as she dropped home six three-pointers. Lowe also posted eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Mary Dineen finished with 18 points, three assists and two steals.
Jillian Myers tallied 11 points, four rebounds and three steals. Rockhurst shot 40.8 percent from the field.
The Bearcats are coming off a 74-63 loss at home to Truman State last Saturday. Senior guard Amber Alexander led McKendree with 19 points and four assists. Senior forward Ellie Puscheck leads McKendree in scoring (9.2). Senior forward Emily Puscheck is averaging 8.6 points and a team-high 5.8 rebounds per game. Kari Kerkhoff is in her second season at the head coach at McKendree.
