Hawks post 4-0 road win at Saint Joseph's

Box Score Four different players scored goals to power Rockhurst to a 4-0 victory over Saint Joseph's Friday in Rensselaer, Indiana.

Erika Celoni opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a shot from the top of the box over the head of the SJC goalkeeper. Mackenzie Moore and Courtney Silberberg both chipped in shots from the center, four minutes apart, to give the Hawks a 3-0 lead. Lexi Boschert scored her first career goal in the 89th minute off a corner kick.

The Hawks posted 41 shots and 23 shots on goal. Brandi Vollmer led Rockhurst with seven shots. Kaley Nieters finished with six shots. Silberberg, Moore and Boschert added collected four shots. Rosie Breheney made two saves in goal for the Hawks.

Rockhurst, 5-0-1 and 2-0-1 in the GLVC, play at Indianapolis on Sunday, September 18.
