Hawks extend home winning streak to 38 in a row

Lily Thornberg posted a double-double with 14 digs and 12 assists.

Box Score Rockhurst improved its winning streak at home to 38 in a row with a 3-0 victory over Benedictine in the Hawks' home opener Tuesday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Morgan Rietzke led the Hawks with 12 kills with a .440 hitting percentage. Mattie Gray added 10 kills with a .625 hitting percentage.

Lily Thornberg posted a double-double with 14 digs and 12 assists. Anne Hellwege tallied 10 digs and eight assists. Grace Carter came off the bench to contribute 12 assists. Karli Reichert added six kills and three service aces.

The Hawks (6-3) open conference play at Bellarmine on Friday, September 16.
