Box Score Michael Beckham scored three goals and assisted on another goal to lead Rockhurst to a 10-6 victory over Adams State in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Sunday at Bourke Field.
The Hawks (3-1, 2-0 RMAC) scored the first three goals of the game and took a 7-4 lead into intermission. Rockhurst held off Adams State by scoring two goals in the final six minutes.
Jake Martin finished with one goal and two assists.
Shea Radel and
Collin Fischer each tallied one goal and one assist.
Ian Meister, Christian Schveinger,
Jake Hardin and
Peter Hummel also scored goals for the Hawks.
Meister won 16-of-20 faceoffs and posted a team-high seven ground balls.
Alex Pfeil finished with eight saves.
Rockhurst outshot Adams State 38-35. Martin led the Hawks with nine shots. Beckham collected six shots. Radel tallied five shots.
The Hawks host Cornell College on Monday, March 7.
