Box Score Sixteen different players scored goals to lead Rockhurst to a 27-5 victory over Saint Mary Tuesday night at Bourke Field.
Michael Beckham tallied four of his team-high six goals to carry the Hawks to a 15-1 halftime lead. Beckham's back-to-back goals early in the second half put Rockhurst in front 18-1.
Jake Martin led the Hawks with seven assists and eight points. Martin also finished with four ground balls.
Elijah Gaea posted three goals on three shots.
Mason Pomeroy,
Collin Fischer,
Peter Hummel and
Nick Schveninger each tallied two goals.
Ian Meister won 17-of-21 faceoffs and collected 11 ground balls.
Jamison Boggio won his first game of the season while posting eight saves.
Sean Dotson had a team-high six caused turnovers.
Rockhurst outshot Saint Mary 64-20. Beckham led the Hawks with 12 shots. Pomeroy posted seven shots and Fischer added six shots.
The Hawks (7-3) return to conference play at Colorado Mesa on host Friday (April 1).
